Samoa — Lalomanu & Apia
Samoa's eFoil scene is small — Lalomanu's reef-protected lagoon on south-east Upolu is the standout, with Apia Harbour as the calmer-water backup.

About this spot
Samoa doesn't yet have a meaningful resident eFoil rental industry, so most riders here arrive with their own kit. The natural launch is Lalomanu on the south-east tip of Upolu — a long sand beach behind a fringing reef with a protected lagoon strip and SE trade winds blowing side-shore through the May-October dry season. Apia Harbour on the north coast is the calmer, more sheltered backup when the south-east is blown out. Samoa's beaches operate under the matai system of village ownership and a small custom (beach access) fee is the norm; ask at the village fale before launching, and avoid Sundays when most coastal villages observe a strict day of rest with no commercial water activity.
Typical conditions
South-east Upolu lagoon protected by a fringing reef; SE trade-wind side-shore most of the dry season. Apia Harbour offers a calmer alternative on the north coast.
