Israel's central watersport beach and the home of the country's small but established eFoil scene, with FOIL Surfing Israel acting as the country's authorized Takuma channel.

Hilton Beach sits at the north end of Tel Aviv's tayelet, just below the Hilton hotel and Independence Park, and is the city's official watersport beach — the designated zone where windsurfers, kitesurfers, wing foilers, and eFoilers can launch without conflicting with swimmers. FOIL Surfing Israel is the country's recognized eFoil channel, marketing Takuma electric hydrofoils with Israeli Ministry of Transport maritime approval, and Israel has also produced its own eFoil R&D scene profiled by The Times of Israel. Conditions are classic eastern Mediterranean: water 18 C in winter and 28 C in late summer, glassy at sunrise, and an afternoon onshore that fills in steadily from late morning and turns the bay into chop by 3pm. Beginners stick to the calm morning window inside the Hilton swim-zone buoys; intermediate riders push offshore to find cleaner water once the breeze is up. Israeli Ministry of Transport rules require a recreational boat licence for motorized craft, and Tel Aviv's beach bylaws restrict motorized water sports to the designated zones north of Tel Baruch and at Hilton — eFoiling outside those zones, especially on Shabbat when several beaches close, will draw municipal enforcement. April-June and September-November are the sweet spots.
Typical conditions
Mediterranean coast with glassy early mornings and a dependable onshore westerly building from late morning into a stiff afternoon sea breeze. Small wind chop is the norm; clean swell is rare outside winter storms.
