eFoil Sweden Göteborg
Gothenburg outpost of Lift Foils' Swedish distributor, running lessons and test rides on the West Coast alongside attendance at Gothenburg boat show. Same Licence-to-Fly programme as the Stockholm base.
Sweden's west-coast city with sheltered launches at Langedrag and the Hisingen shore, plus quick access to the Bohuslan skerries.

Gothenburg's eFoil scene runs out of Langedrag and the GKSS marina area, with riders typically working the protected water inside Rivo Fjord and Hakefjorden before heading out toward Vinga, Stora Polsan and the granite skerries off Hono and Ockero. Bottom is rocky with sand patches at 3-12 m close to shore, and the protected channels between islands stay foilable in winds up to 18 knots from the southwest. Commercial shipping into Gothenburg's port runs north of the launch zone, but the Styrsobolaget passenger ferries criss-cross the archipelago year-round on dense schedules — stay outside the marked fairways and check timetables before crossing channels. Water temperature peaks at 17-19 C in late July, several degrees cooler than the Baltic. Allmansratten allows private eFoiling; schools operate under operator permits and most launch from designated marina slipways. Best months are June through early September, with the cleanest sea breezes typically running 12:00-19:00.
Southwesterly sea breezes 10-16 knots May through September, building from late morning. Short fetch chop inside Rivo Fjord; cleaner water once past Vinga lighthouse.
